  4. Very pretty! Did you use a pattern, or just make it up?

    1. Hi Julie, thank you for your comment! I made it up considering the size in which I could put my purse and phone neatly. It is a simple rectangular bag with zip opening.

  5. I love this clutch - such a great idea for special fabric that you don't want to buy too much off. Did you use a pattern, or just make it up?

    1. Sorry for being late! Yes, I made it up with dimensions of my wish. Because it is just a flat bag, I didn't need that much of fabric and it was very good. Thank you for your comment, Melanie!

  7. The fabric is amazing. I've always been hesitant about running a heavily sequined fabric through my machine. Did you pull out sequins along your sewing line, or having any problems along the way? Any tips for someone new to sewing with "different" fabrics like this?

    1. Hi KirbeeLee, thank you for the comment! I sewed this fabric without taking off the sequins on the seams. Though I am no expert of sewing elaborately designed fabrics, I was feeling that I could sew on these sequins without breaking my needles because they split easily and smoothly without any problem when I cut the fabric for this clutch. I think it's case by case. I think some other fabrics would need sequins off before sewing too. What I can say is that you can sew over the decorations on your fabrics, like sequins and such, and you can remove them before sewing too. Don't worry about it too much. Just have some stitches slowly on a scrap to check before you have a real "GO", you're doing right as long as you protect your fingers and eyes and as long as the result looks Okay-ish. Good luck to you!
